BRXProd 0.5.x requires Bricks 2.4+
Download 0.5.x version from your account downloads.
Bricks 2.4 reworked significant parts of the builder interface — enough that one release of BRXProd can no longer support both it and Bricks 2.3.x. Everything from BRXProd 0.5.0 onward is built for the new editor and needs Bricks 2.4-beta-2 or higher. If you’re still on Bricks 2.3.10, stay on BRXProd 0.4.3: it’s the final release for that line and keeps working exactly as it does today, but development has stopped there, so every feature added since — the Generated HTML panel, Corner Helper, the Grid Builder additions, the Quick settings drawer and more — is only available in 0.5.x. The two versions are a matched pair: update Bricks to 2.4 and BRXProd to 0.5.x together.
-
Generated HTML panel — a docked panel showing the real markup Bricks
renders for the selected element, with two switchable sources: Preview (live, including
unsaved edits) and Frontend (exactly what ships). Edit an element’s text inline, click a tag
name to change the HTML tag, click inside an opening tag for the Attribute Bar, click an
imagesrcto open the media library, and edit Rich Text HTML in its own editor.
Includes auto-closing tags, linked tag renaming, auto-save, a mini Structure tree, and a
pop-out window. -
Grid Builder additions — responsive Collapse (None / 2 columns / 1
column), Prev/Next breakpoint stepping, drag a cell by its body to move it, Row height and
Single row heights,calc()on Tab, a per-cell Z-index field, configurable
defaults for new grids, and an option to hide Bricks’ own dashed guide lines. -
Corner Helper — a Flared / Inverted picker for the BRXProd corner
utility classes, with live previews of the real shapes and variable typeaheads for their
radius and colour. -
Quick settings drawer — replaces the old Manage Panels popover with a
slide-in drawer: show or hide each BRXProd panel, control each of Bricks’ own dock regions
individually, toggle toolbar buttons, and set Compact density across the whole plugin UI. -
Documentation page search — full-text search across the documentation,
plus a shareable link for every section. -
Custom Design Variable tabs — build your own tabs in the Design
Variables modal, organised into categories. -
Structure Tree in the CSS Panel — a compact, click-to-browse mirror of
the Structure Panel in both the docked panel and the detached window, with Collapse all and
Expand all. -
Mouse shortcuts and shortcut troubleshooting — trigger settings
shortcuts with Ctrl/Alt plus a mouse click, and use the new Troubleshoot tab to see exactly
what any key, click or scroll gesture produces. -
Shadow Generator improvements — a Box Color swatch alongside the Matte
backdrop, and a “Paste code here” panel that reads abox-shadowor
text-shadowvalue copied from anywhere. -
Utility classes and Style Guide treatments — 21 installable utility
classes (line clamping, list reset, zero margin and padding), four Style Guide visual
treatments, and a Sticky Header CSS pattern. -
Bricks 2.4 CSS sync awareness — detects Bricks’ own native CSS sync
and stands down, so the two never produce conflicting CSS. -
Detached window parity — keyboard shortcuts and Shift+scroll now work
from pop-out panels, which also follow your theme colours and survive a builder reload.
